Ernst & Young is holding  EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year Competition, which recognizes talented young women with the potential to have a fulfilling career in EY Transaction Advisory Services (TAS).

EY TAS helps companies drive inclusive growth by focusing on their capital and transaction strategy through to execution.

Conditions:

  1. Only Female Saudi national can participate.
  2. Undergraduate degree: completed in 2019 or graduating before December 2020, or Postgraduate Programs/Master’s Degree: Completed in 2019 or graduating before December 2020 with no relevant work experience for more than 6 months.
  3. Students who started their masters directly after completing their bachelor’s degree.
  4. Major in AccountingFinance, Banking and Finance, EconomicsPolitical Science, or any degree with a minor in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
  5. Willingness to travel to Rome, Italy to attend the Global Competition from 9–11 February 2020.

Stages of Competition:

The competition is split into four stages:

  • Stage 1: Application: Entrants need to submit a formal application, and respond to all questions, that there are no right or wrong answers for them. 
  • Stage 2: Exploring TAS (virtual call): After reviewing applications, entrants will be invited to attend a virtual meeting to get the opportunity to experience:
  1. An insight into EY and, more specifically, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS).
  2. More about the EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year Competition.
  • Stage 3: KSA country competition: Finalists of the application phase will be invited to attend the national competition (one day event in November 2019) taking place in Riyadh, to participate in individual and group activities, where their ability to think critically and to come up with creative solutions for complex problems will be challenged.  

The country finalist wins a place in the global final.

  • Stage 4: Global final competition: Taking place in Rome, Italy in February 2020 (9 – 11 February 2020), successful country finalists will work closely with people from around the world to solve problems for a real client, individually and collectively, in front of EY highly esteemed judges. 

At the global final, finalists will attend an awards ceremony where the overall Corporate Finance Woman of the Year winner will be announced.

Prizes:

  1. The country winner, second and third place winners will receive an internship opportunity in their local EY office. Also they will be flown to Rome to represent their country at the global final in February 2020, with all travel expenses covered. 
  2. The global winner will embark on an all-expenses-paid once-in-a-lifetime EY internship. The month-long experience will take them across the globe to work with EY TAS teams in multiple locations as they help clients build a better working world.
