Gensler invites students with a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or interior design to apply for their opportunity in these areas. This full-time paid opportunity as an intern at Gensler's UAE offices will give you a chance to join their company's creative environment. The start date of the internship can be flexible, but the applicant should be available for the duration of the training, which is not less than 3 months.

Eligibility:

To be accepted at this opportunity you need the following:

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • You have completed your third year in an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program.
  • Return to your program after the internship and will be graduating within one year.
  • Submit an online portfolio that demonstrates the design process and innovative design solutions (PDF format with 2-4 work samples).
  • Have experience in using Revit required, AutoCAD, and/or BIM modeling software a plus.
  • Have experience with adobe creative cloud suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Have 3D computer rendering skills (SketchUp, 3ds Max, and/or other modeling software).
  • Be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Hand sketching ability is considered as a great plus.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. You will have an exciting opportunity to work on projects as a full member of a design team, participating in design charrettes and learning sessions focused on delivering a successful project for the clients, large or small.
  2. In addition to hands-on learning, you will experience educational sessions and mentorship opportunities that include lunch & learn sessions, in house training and potentially vendor visits.
  3. You will also enjoy the rich culture of the firm and the broader office community through a number of events and learning opportunities.
