Dow Jones is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Associate to start an interesting internship opportunity with the Wall Street Journal team in New York, USA for 2020. The associate will actively participate in the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of global digital campaigns. Working within the Digital Acquisition team, this role will be focused on driving global subscriptions for The Wall Street Journal. Ideal candidates will have relevant digital marketing experience, across paid, owned and earned media properties

Responsibilities:                                                    

  1. Assisting in the strategic planning of global digital campaigns, aimed at driving subscriptions for The Wall Street Journal.
  2. Developing creative concepts and assets for global campaigns, working alongside the brand and design teams.
  3. Collaborating closely with internal media, creative and brand teams to ensure that campaign deadline are met.
  4. Monitoring campaign and media channel performance — including owned properties such as Barrons.com, as well as paid media properties such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  5. Analyzing campaign results and providing post-campaign reports.
  6. Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing. Identifying trends and opportunities, as well as translating analysis into actionable plans.

Requirements & Skills:

  1. Recent graduates with internship experience are preferred.
  2. Relevant digital marketing experience across owned, paid and earned media properties. 
  3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve any issues or challenges.
  5. Ability to handle projects independently, prioritize tasks appropriately and supervise them through completion.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work well within a team.
  8. Strong initiation and self-motivated.
  9. (Preferred, but not necessary) Prior experience working in online media or publishing businesses would be an advantage.
