Lombard International Company is offering an internship opportunity for students who are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Finance. Lombard International is a leading independent, global wealth solutions provider with over 25 years’ experience. Lombard International's global team of over 500 includes more than 60 technical experts and over 100 client services professionals specializing in multiple jurisdictions.

Your Role:

As a trainee, the successful candidate will join a team of Private Equity / Non-Traditional Assets assisting them in the full process of acquisition of new investments and handling transactions of the current book of PE business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proper understanding and due diligence of new unquoted investments until the final target assets held within the investment structure to be acquired by and held by the insurance policies.
  2. Analysis and a good understanding of standard private equity deal documentation and agreement.
  3. Enhanced assessment of the valuation of the unquoted investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that investment within an insurance policy as a whole.
  4. Close supervision and coordination of any restructuring, corporate action on existing positions in unquoted assets.
  5. Ensure proper documentation and filing of collected and analyzed documentation and evidence.
  6. Ensure accurate application of the corporate unquoted assets policy and unquoted assets acceptance procedure.

Requirements:

  1. You are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Finance.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Flexible must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  4. Confident, professional approach to dealing with colleagues from different departments.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Familiarity with the common MS Office software is a must.
  7. Fluency in written and verbal English, knowledge of another major European language is a plus.
