Lombard International Company is offering an internship opportunity for students who are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Finance. Your Role:
As a trainee, the successful candidate will join a team of Private Equity / Non-Traditional Assets assisting them in the full process of acquisition of new investments and handling transactions of the current book of PE business.
Responsibilities:
- Proper understanding and due diligence of new unquoted investments until the final target assets held within the investment structure to be acquired by and held by the insurance policies.
- Analysis and a good understanding of standard private equity deal documentation and agreement.
- Enhanced assessment of the valuation of the unquoted investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that investment within an insurance policy as a whole.
- Close supervision and coordination of any restructuring, corporate action on existing positions in unquoted assets.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of collected and analyzed documentation and evidence.
- Ensure accurate application of the corporate unquoted assets policy and unquoted assets acceptance procedure.
Requirements:
- You are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Confident, professional approach to dealing with colleagues from different departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the common MS Office software is a must.
- Fluency in written and verbal English, knowledge of another major European language is a plus.
