Snow College offers a scholarship for its students, who are interested in applying to join College Ambassador Team, which will represent both College and the Admissions office, in planning and participating in various recruiting activities. Some of those activities include campus tours, Snow Blasts, open houses and more. Ambassadors will have the opportunity to serve, make lifelong friendships learn valuable skills, and gain resume-worthy experience.

Who can apply:

Incoming Freshman or current Snow College students may apply, incoming Freshman must have 3.0 GPA, and current ones must have 2.75 GPA, and both must complete a full academic school year.
Students are available to attend SnowBlast/Leadership weekend March 6-7, 2020.

Application Requirements:

Most recent transcripts.
Resume highlighting work, leadership and service experience (max two pages).
Current 3x5 headshot.
Two References who have supervised or worked closely with the applicant to complete an evaluation form.
"About You" Page, that must be an 8.5 x 11 single page, applicants must be creative and use any type of materials, photos, words, etc. that will help best represent who they are.
The video consisted of two sections:

First part: Applicants interview themselves in 5 min max, answering the following questions on min each:
1. Tell the university about yourself?
2. Why do you want to be a Snow College Ambassador?
3. What makes you unique as a leader?
4. Talk about a time in your life when you were proud of yourself?
5. Talk about a time in your life you had a conflict with a boss and how you resolved it?
Second part: Applicants giving a two-minute presentation, where they will act as if they are Snow College Ambassadors, and how they will recruit prospective students to attend Snow College. This video should be uploaded on Youtube and its privacy settings to Unlisted or Public.

Note that: If an applicant is a current Snow College student he/she will need to sign up for an interview in the Admissions office instead of making a video.

Award:

Half tuition waived, and this is renewable for up to 3 years.
