The University of Cincinnati in the United States is offering international undergraduate students the opportunity to apply for the Global Scholarships for 2020. Eligibility Criteria:

  1. International students completing high school at a US or foreign high school.
  2. International students entering UC directly from a foreign university.
  3. International students entering UC through Conditional Admission.
  4. International students who have completed (or are completing) an associate’s degree from an accredited U.S. college
  5. All international students who are offered admission to the University of Cincinnati are automatically considered for the UC Global Scholarship. Students should submit all application materials before the program priority deadline in order to receive maximum consideration.
  6. SAT-R: Critical Reading + Math 1130
  7. ACT: Composite 27
  8. TOEFL/IELTS/ELS and UC Math Placement Test: 79 composite (min. 15 on each subsection) / 6.5 overall (min. 5.5 on each subsection) / ELS 112 with passing Math Placement Test score.
  9. ELS Students must graduate from ELS 112 in order to be eligible for scholarship consideration
  10. GPA: Transfer students only: 3.25/4.0 as determined by a course-by-course credential evaluation. If attending a US university, only students who have earned Associates Degrees with a minimum of 3.25 GPA from regionally accredited community colleges are eligible to receive Global Scholarships. Students applying during their final semester or semesters of study towards the Associate Degree may be considered, but must submit a final transcript from the Community College that demonstrates they have met the cumulative GPA requirement and have earned an Associate’s Degree before they receive the scholarship funds.

Maintaining Eligibility:

  1. Maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average.
  2. Complete the volunteer service requirement.
  3. 15 hours of community service for each semester the scholarship is received.
