International Rescue Committee requires an admin assistant for temporary support in the sector of the supply chain. It's a full-time job in Tunisia. 

Job Description:

The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing temporary support to the supply chain team in Tunisia.

Eligibility:

To be accepted at this job you need to: 

  • Have a university degree in a relevant field.
  • Have a supply chain or administrative qualifications.
  • Have 1 year of relevant professional experience in administration / human resources.
  • Have previous experience working with an international NGO in a cross-cultural setting, preferably in the logistics sector.
  • Previous team experience and knowledge of team dynamics desirable.
  • Be a Good inter-personal and conflict resolution skills, able to work under pressure and manage personal stress.
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Be excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Arrangement of hotel bookings and reservations for events/workshops with IRC travel agent after receipt of approved/filled travel request forms (TAFs).
  2. Processing and reconciliation of accommodation hotel bookings related to payments by COB every Friday.
  3. Track information on the booking into the internal Flight Tracking Sheet on the same day that the booking was made. Information should include (Passenger name, Travel date, Ticket cost, and Charging codes).
  4. Track rental agreements for the office and guesthouses and ensure hard copies of these contracts are properly filed.
  5. Conduct physical inventory of all properties and assets and ensure the property list is accurate and up to date.
  6. Collection of quotes for the market surveys to ensure that IRC is receiving the best value for money.
  7. Ensure filing system for procurement, administration related documents are put in place.
  8. Other relevant duties as assigned and requested by the supervisor.
