The University of Sydney invites exceptional international students to apply for its vice-chancellor international scholarship scheme. This scholarship supports high-achieving international students to pursue coursework studies at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility:

To apply for this opportunity you must:

  1. Be an international student.
  2. Have applied for but not yet commenced a CRICOS-registered bachelor’s degree or master’s by coursework degree, which is delivered face-to-face (not online) in Australia
  3. Receive an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant close date.
  4. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as assessed from a student’s application for admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
  5. To continue receipt of the scholarship, you must maintain a minimum semester average mark (SAM) of 65 and have no outstanding fees.
  6. The scholarship is transferable to another major, degree or faculty but is not transferable to another University.

Benefits:

There will be four scholarship offered based on ranking against selection criteria:

  • $40,000 payable for one year in two equal installments per semester.
  • $20,000 payable for one semester.
  • $10,000 payable for one semester.
  • $5,000 payable for one semester.
  • The availability of some amounts may be limited to specified cohorts.
