International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) is offering scholarships for students admitted to the IIRP Master of Science program who are committed to making a lasting positive impact in their local community. The International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) is a graduate institution designed for the 21st century, where learning centers on real-life challenges and projects.

Eligibility:

  1. The Scholarship will be awarded only for the master degree in science subject offered by IIRP
  2. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  3. Admissible Criteria: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or better form a college or university outside the USA
  4. Language requirement: International applicants are required to demonstrate fluency in English unless they have received a bachelor's or master's degree from an institution in the following countries: Australia, Belize, British Caribbean, and British West Indies, Canada (except Quebec), England, Guyana, Republic of Ireland, Liberia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the United States, and Wales.

Scholarships:

  • Impact Scholarships: Impact Scholarships provide full tuition and other support for the next generation of changemakers across the globe. Impact Scholarships are given to students admitted to the IIRP Master of Science program who are committed to making a lasting positive impact in their local community.
  • Shawn Suzch Scholarship: The Shawn Suzch Scholarship is awarded each year in June to an IIRP Master of Science candidate. $1,000 in tuition assistance will be awarded in memory of Shawn.

Application Material:

To get the scholarship, you should first apply to the Master of Science program by providing the following documents within 60 days from when you start your application:

  1. Official academic transcripts, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better, from accredited undergraduate degree-awarding colleges or universities, or the equivalent for students with an undergraduate degree earned outside the United States.
     If you received your degree outside the United States: all transcripts and academic credentials of all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended must be evaluated on a course by course basis by any organization approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and sent directly to the IIRP from that organization.
  2. A 1-2 page letter or essay, describing your reasons for seeking specialized graduate education. This essay is a reflection of your scholarship and should be reviewed for spelling and grammar prior to submission.
  3. Three letters of reference, submitted with the Graduate School Recommendation Form. These letters should be from persons who know both your character and your ability to be successful in completing graduate study in IIRP's professional discipline.
  4. A résumé or curriculum vitae.
  5. IELTS  with a minimum score ofis 6.5 or TOEFL with a minimum acceptable score of 550 for the paper-based test with a 20 on the speaking section for the internet-based test (iBT), 16 for Listening, 20 writing, 80 Composite.
