Al Jazeera English offers a job opportunity as a planning producer for its English channel in Doha, Qatar.

Job Description:

Al Jazeera English is an award-winning 24-hour international news channel that provides unrivalled coverage of world affairs. There are exciting opportunities now exist at their headquarters in Doha for experienced journalists, producers, program editors, and presenters. As a planning producer, you will work closely with Al Jazeera correspondents and producers worldwide, you will be full of ideas to help originate material. You will evaluate the logistics of developing a story and visualize how the finished product might look. You will keep across diaries, agency outlooks and other media to ensure that they don't miss events.

Eligibility:

You should have a bachelor's degree in journalism, media, communication or other related fields.
You must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an international newsroom.
You should have local and international knowledge of international affairs.
You must have good knowledge of news sources and Aljazeera editorial integrity and ethics.
