Specialized Technical Services (STS) offers a job opportunity to work as a systems engineer in its office in Jordan.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Implementation:

Install new products and apply performance and security procedures.
Supervise the migration of existing solutions and apply needed updates.
Complete configuration and upgrading based on the design and specifications of client proposals.
Supervise the administration of systems to ensure the availability of services to authorized users.

Testing, Documentation, and Reporting:

Complete integration and test the applications and systems.
Prepare full documentation of the implemented products and software.
Provide timely status reports to supervisors and project managers.

Technical Assistance and Support:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support.
Follow-up on major accounts in terms of technical support and proactive support service.
Maintain applications, operating systems and perform various preventative maintenance tasks for clients.
Provide hands-on training to the customer “Knowledge Transfer”.
Collaborate with other team members to provide the maximum value to our customers.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, Communication Engineering, Networks Engineering or any IT field.
Self-motivated and willing to learn.
Min. 4 years’ experience as a systems admin/system engineer.
Strong knowledge of any Windows OS, Client/Server knowledge.
Strong knowledge of MSI on-premise products: Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, Orchestrator, VMM, SCSM.
Strong knowledge of MSI cloud products: Office 365, azure, EMS, OMS, Intune.
Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
Ability to work under pressure.
Computer networking knowledge is a plus.
