The United Nations is looking for 3 qualified online volunteers to be a part of the Developing of the Economic Modeling Components for Health Cost-benefit Analyses for 2020.
The volunteer will research and develop econometric modeling components for use in national health investment cases. The UNDP/WHO investment cases use the OneHealth Tool to project implementation costs and impacts. This assignment would complement that with simple economic modeling on issues such as air pollution, urban design, public transport, shisha regulation, illicit trade in tobacco and alcohol, road traffic accidents and sand and dust storms. The volunteer will be briefed on the modeling work done to date in existing NCD investment cases and will identify areas for further development in consultation with UNDP. The volunteer will build standalone excel worksheets and define data requirements to allow modeling of new policy issues.
Upon completion, the online volunteer will be given due credit and receive a Certificate of Appreciation for his or her contribution.
