Specialized Technical Services (STS) offers a job opportunity to work as a Systems Engineer, Cloud Services in its office in Jordan.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Create, plan and implement detailed deployment designs.
Write and maintain technical implementation documentation on existing services and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
Ensure that new deployments are handed with appropriate documentation and training.
Implement Infrastructure projects as needed, ensuring work is delivered on-time and to a high quality.
Implement automated high-availability deployments.
Design and deploy systems management, provisioning, and improvement tools, in line with the Network, Systems and Operational Systems strategies and the priorities of Network & Infrastructure.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or relative IT filed.
1-2 years’ experience on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems.
Extensive knowledge and experience with *NIX, Virtualization ( VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V).
Extensive knowledge and experience with Nutanix Hyper-converged.
Extensive knowledge and experience with most of the following applications – Apache, MySQL, Mail, BIND, FreeRADIUS, and LVM.
Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases.
Extensive knowledge of SAN, NAS and Storage solutions.
Extensive knowledge of network management and network management tools (E.g. Cacti, Nagios, or equivalents).
Extensive Knowledge of systems design and architecture principles.
Knowledge of Clustering technologies, load balancing.
Red Hat certification or equivalent Linux certificate is preferred.
Scripting skills in, BASH, Python, Perl, Ansible is preferred.
Advanced skill level in system performance troubleshooting.
