Telus Communications in Canada is offering a job opportunity as a full-time Operations Coordinator in Toronto. As a key member of the team the operations Coordinator will help the company organizing excellent care delivery across the country. The selected candidate will be working with clinicians who are committed to attentive, empathetic, personalized care, both virtually and in person. 

Telus offers Canadians on-demand access to friendly and knowledgeable primary care providers anytime they need it, wherever they are. Using the mobile app, members can connect directly to primary care providers to get and renew prescriptions, obtain specialist and lab referrals, and have their health questions answered - 24/7, across the country, in French and English.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. 3+ years of experience in office management or an administrative role
  2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Science or related field
  4. Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a positive and solution-oriented mindset;
  5. Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally;
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills
  7. Health industry experience will be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinician Scheduling – Telus operations are getting increasingly complex – 4 time zones, 100+ providers. A key responsibility of the Operations Coordinator is to ensure service availability by maintaining and booking clinicians based on demand and schedule templates.
  2. Operations Point of Contact – providing operational support to the company's external clinical partners. This could include fielding questions, handling escalations, and trouble-shooting with clinic partners.
  3. Operational Project Support – providing support to various operational projects as necessary including implementation of new clinical workflow, tools, and programs.
