Walt Disney is offering an internship opportunity at The Walt Disney Studios Production Finance department, which is responsible for the full life cycle financial management of Disney’s live-action slate of productions.

Interns will help bring compelling stories to life through film, music and live entertainment. This internship will take place in Disney Studios in Burbank, California, United States.

Internship Duration:

Full time for 12 weeks from May/June through August/September.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Currently pursuing an MBA or another graduate degree at a college/university with a focus in Finance or related area, taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program
  2. At least 18 years of age
  3. Unrestricted work authorization
  4. Ability to provide own relocation, housing, and transportation. The position is located in Burbank, CA.
  5. Enrolled in an MBA or other graduate degree program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program
  6. Strong quantitative skills.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proficient in Excel including financial modeling.
  9. Proficient in PowerPoint.
  10. Passion for the film industry.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Previous entertainment industry experience.
  2. Previous experience in film or television production.

Internship Duties:

  1. Providing financial analysis related to historical trends, production spending forecasting, domestic and international production incentives, and feature film budgeting.
  2. Assisting executives in day-to-day production finance activities.
  3. Completing other tasks as assigned.
