CDM Smith is currently looking for a Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to join the company team in Amman, Jordan. This position will work on multiple tasks on the USAID Jordan Water Infrastructure project serving as an umbrella contract for USAID/Jordan’s water, wastewater, and environment sectors. The project aims to address specific assessments, designs, tendering support, and construction management services.

Responsibilities:

Work within a team of multi-disciplinary professionals in designing wastewater treatment plants.
Collect and analyze data.
Perform wastewater treatment process calculations.
Assist in BioWin model development.
Prepare reports, drawings, and specifications.
Assist in the selection of process equipment.
Review designs for compliance with Jordanian and international regulations.
Coordinates designs with other engineering disciplines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Hold Jordanian citizenship and be legally authorized to work in Jordan.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
A minimum of three years of experience in wastewater treatment plants process design.
Completed advanced wastewater treatment process courses at university or similar after graduation (provide documentation on completed courses)
Experience in using BioWin or similar software preferred.
Strong Communication skills in English and Arabic (speaking, reading and writing)
Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD are preferred.
A member of the Jordan Engineers Association.
Good Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
