Austrian development cooperation offers a scholarship for Bachelor Palestinian students in Tourism and Hospitality Management in 2020.
Eligibility:
To be accepted for this scholarship, You should:
Have a GCE A‘ levels or equivalent, which enables enrollment at a University.
Have practical experience in tourism (hotels, travel agencies, tourism management) or any similar practical experience for a minimum 1 year or graduates of a tourism and hospitality institute.
Have proof of an excellent command of English. An internationally recognized certificate proving the knowledge of English (TOEFL, IELTS) is required for applicants from non-English speaking countries as all courses are conducted in the English language.
If the student’s English language is not sufficient the Institute may decide whether he/she has to take an extra English language course in Austria at his/her own expenses.
A general module including hospitality management module or tourism management module as well as Teacher Training Module (TT).

Funding:
The scholarship includes:
Tuition fee.
Accommodation.
Flight tickets (from home country to Salzburg and back).
Health insurance.
Food from Monday – Sunday.
Excursions except for field trips to ITB Berlin.
Pocket money with a value of €205 per month.
It doesn't include:
Transfer from the airport to the hostel and back to the airport when leaving.
The visa fee has to be paid by the applicants. The fee for the 8-month residence permit is €160. The fees for the entry visa (Visa D) are different, please contact your embassy for detailed information.
