Seedstars is offering a job opportunity, as the Brand and Content team is looking for an experienced and creative full-time Social Media Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the group's Social Media strategy in order to increase its online presence and improve its marketing and sales efforts. Acting as a central coordination contact, the specialist will work closely with the product marketing managers within the team and the other squads to plan, coordinate and measure Seedstars' international and local activations.

This job can be done from one of the company's hubs in Abidjan, or Casablanca, or Cairo, or Cape Town, or Dar es Salaam, or Geneva, or Lagos, or Mexico City, or Nur-Sultan, or Yangon, or from Porto, or remote. 

Required Qualifications:

  1. 2-3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  3. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  4. Experience setting up experiments and tracking results.
  5. Experience with doing audience and buyer personal research.
  6. Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  7. Excellent planning and coordination skills.
  8. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  9. Team player.
  10. Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy.
  2. Define most important social media KPIs.
  3. Manage and oversee social media content.
  4. Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  5. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  6. Collaborate with other squads and Content and Brand squad members to ensure our activations are coordinated and optimized.
  7. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  8. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
