Orange is offering a job opportunity in the UAE as an Account Manager. 

Eligibility:

  1. +5 years’ experience in the Telecom Wholesale Market and preferably in Middle-East and/or Asia region.
  2. +3 years’ experience of working on voice and mobile services products within the wholesale market.
  3. Technical and/or Business Master's degree.
  4. Fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus.
  5. Be able to rapidly demonstrate sales/negotiation skills with strategic accounts in a very competitive and challenging international environment.
  6. Excellent strategic skills and ability to translate strategy into a Sales plan.
  7. Extensive and high-level network in the wholesale industry.
  8. Strong target orientation and motivation.
  9. Sound knowledge of Business Financials.
  10. People management skills.
  11. Be highly flexible in the team taking other responsibilities and initiatives.
  12. Team players with experience or ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  13. Being autonomous to manage workload in order to meet the deadlines and the specified objectives.
  14. high contract responsibilities are engaged.
  15. Have a proven track record of delivering both tactical and strategic solutions to manage the bilateral relationship and selling to telecom operators worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and responsible for revenue, margin, and growth for existing and new clients.
  2. Develop new partnerships and foster alliances with strategic partners.
  3. Negotiate and source competitive regional termination rates and trading deals.
  4. Feed marketing with market intelligence with regards to pricing & new products.
  5. Grow IC footprint in the ME region for voice and mobile service.
  6. Develop, implement and manage plans, budget & targets in line with OIC strategy.
  7. Coordinate with other group members like OBS and Wholesale LoB to ensure synchronized interaction with the major carriers in the region.
  8. Develop existing account, prospect and signs new agreements (SMS A2P, IPX, ITFS…).
  9. Coordinate with Revenue Assurance & Credit Management to curb illegal termination and fraud detection.
  10. Monitor & follow billing, reconciliations in view of timely settlements.
  11. Debt recovery through purchase activity and interaction with customer finance.
  12. Lead on all issues relating to international route management and trade business.
  13. Evaluate international routing to ensure efficient use of capacity.
  14. Plan and design a new international routing plan with the aim of minimizing cost and support other sales areas.
  15. Knowledge of Contracts and Tenders Fundamentals.
  16. Understanding and Application of Tariff/Trading Agreements.
  17. Knowledge of International Administration Tariffs & Conversion Rate.

Key results area:

  1. Lead and drive sales on a day to day basis to achieve financial and sales targets (Target revenue +30M€).
  2. In most cases, the carriers in the AM portfolio are not only IC customers but also their providers and competitors, adding thus a particular level of complexity to the business relationship management.
