Delivery Hero is looking for Data Analyst in Logistics and Routing Optimization to join its Logistics team in Berlin to help create a fast, reliable and transparent delivery experience. Your team's mission is developing services and algorithms that connect riders and vendors to millions of customers every day.

Responsibilities:

Explore large datasets, give meaning to data and numbers, identify opportunities and issues, and present findings to stakeholders.
Analyze trends in the company’s data and providing insight and explanation to its local teams to improve their operations using data
Support your team in identifying new metrics and KPIs in the complex domain of last-mile logistics.
Develop accessible, creative and engaging data visualization to facilitate access to insight.
Innovate technology, process, and product within the whole organization.

Requirements:

You gained at least 2 years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics or data science role.
You are proficient in SQL.
You work with large, complex data sets to solve difficult analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
You have solid exploratory analysis and data visualization skills.
You have knowledge of working with statistical packages (e.g. R, Python).
You have experience with version control systems (e.g. Github).
You are highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail.
You are a team player and love to think outside the box.
Any past experience in Logistics is highly beneficial.
Experience with BigQuery is a plus.
