Have you been waiting for too long for a paid entry-level opportunity to the UN? Do you want to join the UN Youth Envoy as a Fellow? Apply as a UN Volunteer In Coordination.
To begin with, they are looking for three young people to get on board the UN Youth Envoy’s Fellowship, which aims at providing you, a young talent, a chance to get involved in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The selected fellows will join them at the United Nations’ Headquarters in New York for a duration of 12 months starting from March 2020.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, the UN Youth Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
Desirable qualities:
The contract lasts for the period indicated above with possibility of extensions subject to availability of funding, operational necessity and satisfactory performance. However, there is no expectation of renewal of the assignment. A UN Volunteer receives a Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) per month and is paid at the end of each month to cover housing, utilities, transportation, communications and other basic needs.
