Thomson Reuters is offering an internship opportunity for applicants who are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or in a relevant field of work. you will gain first-hand knowledge and experience in operations and project management, supporting our software development leadership team. As a member of the Business Operations team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day internal operations and administrative needs of the department.

Responsibilities:

Succeed in a dynamic work environment where priorities change based on current business needs.
Collaborate and work closely with the rest of the Business Operations team while serving as a backup to and supporting projects the team manages.
Emphasis will be placed on attention to detail, reporting, priority management, problem-solving, follow-through, communication, process improvement, and project management.
Responsibilities could span the following areas:
1. Data tracking processes and reporting
2. License tracking and distribution for common development tools.
3. Financial portfolio management and resource planning
4. Governance and compliance
5. Misc. projects and other administrative tasks

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of work.
Knowledge or interest in the following areas:

Project management
Resource management practices
Change management techniques
Financial and portfolio management

Collaborative in nature with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be a results-oriented, problem solver and analytical thinker.
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
