Erasmus is offering a scholarship program to have a Master of Science in Germany. The scholarship is a full scholarship, meant to cover ALL costs (e.g., tuition fees, traveling, visa costs, accommodation, living expenses, etc.).

Eligibility:

  • Program country student 
  1. a national from the EU Member States and further program countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
  2. Or a resident from the EU Member States and further program countries, who has carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years
  3. Who has already obtained a Bachelor degree (applicants having fulfilled 180 credit points of a Bachelor degree will be accepted provisionally, if they provide their (diploma) certificate until course start)
  4. who has NOT been accepted to register or is registered in an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Course already
  5. Scholarship holders must spend their study period in at least two of the consortium partner countries. These two countries must be different from the country in which the scholarship holder has obtained his/her last university degree.

  • Partner country student
  1. a national from OTHER countries than above, who has NOT carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the program countries (reference date: application deadline, March 15);
  2. who has already obtained a first higher education degree (applicants having fulfilled 180 credit points of a Bachelor degree will be accepted provisionally, if they provide their (diploma) certificate until course start)
  3. who has NOT been accepted to register or is registered in an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Course already
  4. Scholarship holders must spend their study period in at least two of the consortium partner countries.These two countries must be different from the country in which the scholarship holder has obtained his/her last university degree.

Required Documents:

Documents for admission:

  1. Application for admission
  2. Passport
  3. English language certificate (certified copy)
  4. Complete and current résumé (CV)
  5. Letter of motivation
  6. Subject and grade transcript of studies to date (certified copy)
  7. Two letters of recommendation
  8. Preliminary documentation / VPD certificate (only for applicants with diploma obtained from countries outside of EU/EEA or Switzerland) 

Documents for enrollment:

  1. Application for enrollment
  2. Passport style photo (as for ID)
  3. Evidence of student health insurance (issued by a compulsory health insurance company)
  4. Degree certificate (final grade transcript, certified copy)
  5. Diploma (certificate conferring an academic degree, certified copy)

For applicants who have already studied in Germany for a minimum one semester (e.g. Erasmus exchange students)

  1. Enrollment certification of university last attended
  2. Study process certificate
