The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering a volunteer opportunity in translation from English to French with The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

Main Tasks:

UNITAR recently published an article on wellbeing in peace operations. The article was recently published in English in a journal. UNITAR would like to publish this article in French in order to reach its French-speaking audience. The task will be to translate this article from English into French. The article has a maximum of 3000 words.

Requirements:

Fluency in French is required as is previous experience with English to French translation, preferably for international organizations.
An understanding of the topics of wellbeing and peace operations may be useful as the vocabulary, can be a bit technical.
