Saudia Airlines is looking for a Technical Records and Publications Specialist. The specialist is going to be responsible for providing and maintaining the latest Aircraft, Engine and Component manuals along with other manufacture documents. Also, maintain accurate records and the retention period of all maintenance or Repair activities for Aviation Authorities auditor.

Main Responsibilities:

Technical Record

  • Maintain and file all aircraft, engines, and components maintenance documents in accordance with GACA requirement.
  • Archive aircraft performance log sheets, aircraft cabin logs, engineering directives, engineering orders, non-routine cards, major repair/alteration reports, compliance documents, aircraft delivery documents, and other related documents in historical sequence.
  • Collect major/alteration reports/pertinent documents from engineering and file all reports for historical records purposes.
  • Review maintenance packages for discrepancies and proper sign-off and apply correction if applicable.
  • Create and publish archived documents indexes for the interval when required.

Technical publication

  • Review and ensure that revision of all Saudia manuals for aircraft, engines, components, test equipment, and engineering & maintenance private jets manuals are accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise of purchase and/or manufacturer/vendor major specifications and standards.
  • Maintain a database (AMOS publication management) of all required maintenance manuals and documents available in a technical publication.
  • Upload AMOS web drive with the latest components manuals and link it to AMOS publication management.
  • Upload eToolkit and Citrix portals with the latest revision of applicable aircraft and engine manuals.
  • Ensure proper distribution and availability of all required aircraft maintenance documents to all aircraft maintenance units in a timely manner and up to the latest revision including the compiled letter check packages.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in press, press and publication, Business Administration, Public Administration, Foreign Languages, English Language, Library Science
  • Minimum overall GPA of (3.75 out of 5) and (2.75 out of 4) for Bachelor degree holders.
  • Minimum overall GPA of (4 out of 5) and (3 out of 4) for Masters degree holders.

Required English Level:

  • Standardized Test for English Proficiency (STEP) by QIYAS with a minimum score of 72.
  • The issuance date of the test MUST not exceed Two years from the application date.
  • This test is required for ALL candidates including Out of the kingdom graduated student.
  • Any other tests will not be accepted.
