Erasmus interns offers an internship in the international student advising office in Turkey at Istanbul Bilgi University for the duration of 6 months. 

Internship Description: 

Erasmus intern is looking for an intern that will help them carry out the duties of the international student advising office of Istanbul Bilgi University. The internship can be done for 5 to 12 months. The international student advising office aims to provide support to BİLGİ’s international degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students, create platforms that facilitate a prosperous education period, enable satisfaction with the university in the duration of their stay, and help them to return to their country as a cultural ambassador. Furthermore, a goal the office thrives to achieve is the inclusion of international students in the BİLGİ community by providing equal access to cultural and social activities and participation in university events. At the end of the traineeship, the company will provide a recommendation letter that can be useful for the intern future career. 

Eligibility:

  1. You must have an advanced level of English.
  2. You should be intermediate in both Arabic and Turkish.

Your Responsibilities:

In this opportunity, you will be responsible for:

  • Helping with the application, admission procedures of students and maintaining office environment through inventory and other administrative tasks.
  • Assisting the operation of events of international programs. 
  • Maintaining data and providing oral, written and telephone support to the foreign students enrolling in BİLGİ and information about academic procedures.
  • Overseeing social media accounts.
  • Analyzing and recording data to aid the design of future projects.
  • Providing assistance to international students, including help with academic purposes and accommodation.
  • Assisting and supporting students during residence permit and health insurance application procedures.

Funding:

You will have the following compensation:
