The Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Program (TLG) is a Master's scholarship program funded by the U.S. Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
The Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Program (TLG) is a leadership training program by the U-S- Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). Its objective is to support academically qualified and economically deserving students in the MENA region by providing graduate study and organized research that advances knowledge, furthers the professionalization of emerging leaders, and contributes to the implementation of socially relevant initiatives.
The first AUB-MEPI-TLG program aims to nurture leadership skills in its graduate students and emphasizes on research in the areas of Policymaking, Gender Studies, and Resource Management (PGRM). It grants twenty scholarships to academically qualified and economically deserving students who apply to any of the thirty-one eligible graduate study programs at AUB spanning the faculties of Agricultural and Food Sciences (FAFS), Arts and Sciences (FAS), Health Sciences (FHS), and the Olayan School of Business (OSB).
In addition to completing program requirements, MEPI-TLG scholars will:
Aiming to advance stability and prosperity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) program supports governments and their citizens to achieve shared political, economic and stability objectives. The MEPI program responds to needs and emerging opportunities for citizens and organizations that target two core objectives: Participatory Governance and Economic Opportunity. A cross-cutting theme is a focus on government-citizen relations: empowering partnerships between citizens, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and government institutions to promote shared solutions for the people of MENA.
