TWAS is offering a competition for achievements in Agricultural Sciences. The TWAS-Lenovo Science Award is one of the most prestigious honors given to scientists from the developing world. In 2020 the award will be given for outstanding achievements in Agricultural Sciences.

A nomination is considered complete only if includes all of the following information/material:
The evaluation and selection will be carried out by an authoritative international jury chaired by the TWAS president and including a representative from Lenovo.
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for the advancement of science in developing countries – works to support sustainable prosperity through research, education, policy and diplomacy. TWAS is a global science academy based in Trieste, Italy. TWAS was founded in 1983 by a distinguished group of scientists from the developing world, under the leadership of Abdus Salam, the Pakistani physicist and Nobel laureate. They shared a belief that developing nations, by building strength in science and engineering, could build the knowledge and skill to address such challenges as hunger, disease and poverty. From the start, the Academy had essential support from Italian scientists and political leaders.
