Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas is offering a full-time job opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to join the team in Doha, Qatar for 2020. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the control of inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances.
  2. Establishing adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and safeguard of assets.
  3. Maintaining up-to-date account analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
  4. Maintaining accurate and timely financial and operating information
  5. Identifies training needs, develops formal training plans and conducts training sessions for finance and operational colleagues in co-ordination with other departments
  6. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  7. Follow-up on capital expenditures to ensure control compliance with original justification and approval.
  8. Maintains professional and technical competence.
  9. Assists in implementing and maintaining acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by Anantara policy, and generally accepted accounting practices.
  10. Performs any other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Hospitality Management or Commerce/Accounting.
  2. Good interpersonal and communication skill.
  3. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Negotiation skills and ability to influence others.
  5. Advanced knowledge of computers including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ability to learn software applications.
