The Destination Australia Scholarships are now available in Edith Cowan University ECU in Australia. The Destination Australia is an Australian Government initiative that has made available 22 scholarships valued at up to $45,000 each. Scholarships are available for full-time students commencing studies at ECU South West Campus in an eligible Bachelor, Masters or Doctoral Degree in 2020. The scholarships will provide eligible students with the opportunity to explore a unique life outside metropolitan cities while undertaking a world-class tertiary education.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this scholarship you should be:

  • A newly commencing student at ECU in Semester 1, 2020 (students previously enrolled in Uni Prepare not eligible to apply);
  • Either a domestic or international student;
  • Commencing full time, an on-campus study in Semester 1, 2020 at the ECU South West Campus;
  • Studying one of the following eligible degrees (in case of international students):
    • Bachelor of Arts (South West).
    • Bachelor of Arts Honours.
    • Bachelor of Education (Primary).
    • Bachelor of Health Science.
    • Bachelor of Science (Conservation Biology and Environmental Management).
    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing Studies).
    • Bachelor of Social Work.
    • Master of Social Science.
    • Master of Teaching (Primary).
    • Master of Teaching (Secondary).
    • Doctoral of Philosophy.
  • Studying one of the following eligible degrees (in case of international students):
    • Bachelor of Arts (South West).
    • Bachelor of Arts Honours.
    • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies).
    • Bachelor of Education (Primary).
    • Bachelor of Health Science.
    • Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science).
    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing and Midwifery).
    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing Studies).
    • Bachelor of Social Work.
    • Bachelor of Science with a major in:
      • Conservation Biology.

      • Environmental Management.

      • Health Promotion.

      • Nutrition.

      • Occupational Safety.

    • Master of Social Science.
    • Master of Teaching (Primary).
    • Master of Teaching (Secondary).
    • Doctor of Philosophy.

Conditions:

  • The selection will be based on your application.
  • Successful applicants will be required to sign a Scholarship Acceptance which will detail further conditions.

Scholarship Value:

  • In the case of bachelor students, the scholarship reduces tuition fees for the full duration by 20%.
  • In the case of master students, the scholarship reduces tuition fees for the first year duration by 20%.
  • In the case of the Mount Lawley International Accommodation Scholarship, it reduces accommodation for the first year by 30%.
  • In the case of South West (Bunbury) International Accommodation Scholarship, it reduces accommodation for the first year by 80%.
