Novartis require medical science liaison, heart failure and respiratory in Tunisia. This is a full-time job in the department of research and development in 

Novartis pharma services AG.

Eligibility:

  1. You must be a peer of the customer Base MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PhD with a solid medical and technical background and proven competencies influencing skills.
  2. You must have CPO country language (French and Arabic) and be fluent in English in oral and written skills. 
  3. You must have more than 2 years’ experience in clinical medicine and/or research. 
  4. You must have knowledge of assigned therapeutic area with the ability to interact with relevant KOLs. 
  5. You should have medical and scientific writing skills.
  6. You must be familiar with all aspects of drug development, GCP and local regulations.
  7. You must have knowledge of clinical trial design statistics and pharmacokinetics. 
  8. You must be familiar with marketing principles and strategies.
  9. You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. clinical research insight, business and market knowledge.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Build scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and decision-makers. 
  • Strategically prepare and support the development, launch and post-launch phases of product life cycle through education of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) / key stakeholders, handling unsolicited requests, clinical trial support, and by the scientific exchange seeking external insights to shape Novartis commercial and development programs.
  • Contribute to mapping and profiling of KOLs and decision-makers.
  • Develop professional scientific relationships, build advocacy and gain contributions of KOLs and decision makers.
  • Collect, analyze and report insights that may impact Novartis development plans and trial designs.
  • Provide and discuss scientific information and data to HCPs to ensure quality and accuracy of medical and scientific information on new treatment options including Novartis products and selected areas of therapeutic interest.
  • Liaise and provide up-to-date medical support to relevant external groups to facilitate listing of products in medical guidelines, formularies to impact pricing and health-economic discussions.
  • Provide speaker training to health care professionals to support the best use of new therapies developed and commercialized by Novartis.
  • Contribute to the identification of appropriate clinical investigators and facilitates placement into Novartis sponsored clinical trials.
  • Support the investigational sites, as needed, as part of across-functional team with clinical trials manager and the medical advisor and others as appropriate.
  • Identify clinical investigators with research proposals that are consistent with the product development strategies and facilitate the Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) process including study completion, presentation, and publication, as appropriate.
  • Support the investigators to comply with the ITT process in accordance with the guidelines and SOPs, providing knowledge and guidance for legal and financial local regulations, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Novartis colleagues to actively support medical and scientific meetings by collecting and interpreting insights/presentations/ results.
  • Evaluate the impact of competitive information to share internally and externally as post-meeting deliverables.
  • Provide medical support and training like disease state and product to Novartis colleagues.
  • Serve as a resource for projects and collaborate with internal colleages.
  • Collaborate with medical advisors other cross-functional groups like business franchise teams and market access.
