UN Volunteers platform is offering a volunteer opportunity with UNDP Crisis Response Unit, to support UNDP core government functions advocacy paper. As UNDP is the knowledge frontier organization for sustainable development in the UN Development System and serves as the integrator for collective action to realize the Sustainable Development Goals. UNDP’s policy work carried out at HQ, Regional and Country Offices levels, forms a continuous spectrum of deep local knowledge to cutting-edge global perspectives and advocacy. 

Volunteer role:

  1. UNDP Core Government Functions Team within the Crisis Bureau has been collecting evidence and data based on the corporate report collected from across the world in 2018 to develop evidence-based policy paper. 
  2. The selected candidate would help to finalize to showcase the evidence-based collected data, which would be useful for better positioning of UNDP. Knowing these data and trends eventually leads us to think more strategically, planning ahead on future programming. We would like to obtain additional support finalizing data collected in terms of good design, writing, and collect further evidence when needed.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  2. Experiences in infographic, design are desired.
  3. Experiences in policy paper are desired. 
  4. Platform expects all volunteers to maintain high standards of behavior, and to refrain from any activity that could be detrimental to the assignment, the organization, other volunteers, or to UNV. By registering applicant accepts that he/she does not make any financial claims to organizations or to UNV.
