UN Volunteers is looking for an online volunteer to support the communication team in the social media management of the organization.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  1. Support with updating Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts
  2. Schedule specific, timely campaigns across all platforms in line with current events
  3. Support packaging social media content following content calendars on a weekly/ monthly basis
  4. Assist in monitoring and replies to Tweets, comments, messages from followers, under supervision of the Digital Communication Officer
  5. Assist in monitor analytics and produce daily social media reports
  6. Assist in publishing, posting and updating content to the website
  7. Assist in tracking and reporting website statistics using Google Analytics
  8. Organize Digital and web Assets and content calendars
  9. Monitor and report on amplified content through other social media channels (partners, UN agencies, ministries, UNICEF Offices, and other pages)
  10. Uploading videos to YouTube
  11. Under the guidance of the Communication Officer (Digital and Social Media), the online volunteer will provide support and contribute to Lebanon's Officer digital platform

Requirements:

  1. Candidates should have previous experience with social media management, excellent communication, and strong writing skills, savvy with social media applications and content management systems.
  2. A degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field is considered an asset.
  3. Fluency in English and Arabic.
