AIESEC is looking for a Media Officer to be part of an internship opportunity with the DP World Expo 2020 in Dubai, UAE from October 2020 to April 2021. DP World is looking for high-energy talent to join its Pavilion and create meaningful and fun experiences for visitors. Media Officers will play a key role in promoting its activities across all media. They will actively generate content, distribute it and engage with the responses it prompts. The role will be for two months, as part of one of three batches: 1) Oct. 12th – Dec. 16th 2) Dec. 11th – Feb. 16th 3) Feb. 12th – Apr. 13th 

Main activities:

  1. Assisting the DP World Communications team in generating content for all stakeholders, from business partners to the general audience.
  2. Helping ensure all forms of corporate messaging are in line with existing company policies.
  3. Engaging media by drafting press releases, feature stories, and other forms of content for distribution in the news media.
  4. Presenting DP World's activities and initiatives displayed on the Pavilion, including Virgin Hyperloop and BoxBay.
  5. Answering stakeholders' comments and queries on all forms of medium.

Qualifications:

  1. Background: Media, Arts, Marketing, Communication & Journalism. 
  2. Digital Marketing.
  3. Social Media Management. 
  4. Communication. 
  5. Languages: Arabic and English. 
  6. Studies: Bachelor, High School.
  7. Working hours: 8 to 05:00 pm, not on weekends.
