UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as it is looking for an individual who is experienced as a video editor who can help UNFPA with developing and editing a series of virtual training modules.

UNFPA is seeking candidates that transform, inspire and deliver high impact and sustained results. 

Duration and working hours:

11-20 hours per week for overall 12 weeks.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Experience with video-editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere.
  2. Access to video equipment through personal means.
  3. Polished written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Acute attention to detail.
  5. Resourceful and innovative. 
  6. Good command of the English language.

Volunteer duties:

  1. Given the current crisis, the organization is moving towards using an online platform to train it's staff. The UN Online Volunteer will work closely with the humanitarian learning coordinator to ensure video and graphic production for UNFPA multimedia projects. 
  2. It estimates that there will be close to 50 learning modules that will require editing. Upon completion of assignment, online volunteer will receive due credit on the product for his/her contributions.
