Erasmus Intern is offering an internship opportunity for students to help engineer, program and support central components of the tech stack at the FORMATION start-up in Berlin, Germany for 2020. The software coding internship will last for 6 month, working with specialized programmers by being exceedingly comfortable with various types of technologies, even those they never encountered. Ongoing learning, pragmatic problem solving and focus on results are typical for them. Interns are known for their thriving impact on teams and some even suspect them to play a key role in digital innovation. 

Your tasks:

  1. Help engineering the hardware and software architecture.
  2. Code new features and improve the existing stack (Android, Ktor, Js, iOS and python).
  3. Technical research & documentation.
  4. Support on  the system landscape.
  5. Customer support and work on customer projects.
  6. Attend team meetings and relevant workshops.

Qualifications and experience: 

  1. Understand at least two different programming languages.
  2. A demo of something you coded to showcase.
  3. OO-programming and problem abstraction skills.
  4. Understand threading and asynchronous code.
  5. Have a positive, proactive and solution oriented attitude.
  6. Ability to communicate and to collaborate with various types of stakeholders. 
  7. Have good abstraction skills and be ease with complexity.
  8. Deep dive into various technical topics and be willing to learn whatever is needed next.
  9. Happy to marathon your keyboard when deadlines approach.
  10. Manage your time and prioritize work.
  11. Be a team player and ready to  give up the idea of being the only smart person around.
