Are you interested in exploring a new country and a new learning environment while being able to continue your research? The University of New England (UNE) is offering an International Postgraduate Research Award for young researchers from who are not Australian. You can complete any research degree offered by the university as long as you find a supervisor for your research project.
The UNE is one of Australia’s most popular universities and regularly scores high on a students’ poll regarding teaching quality and success in getting a job after graduation.
The research award is for a maximum of two years (Master’s degree) or three years (PhD degree) and offers you:
- Free tuition
- A yearly stipend of 26,000 AUD (about 19,505 USD)
- A single standard overseas health insurance
[1] Find a supervisor for your research project
[2] Fill out the application form, which includes:
[3] A description of your research field (between 100 and 150 words)
[4] A description of your previous research experience (maximum one page)
[5] A list of your six non-traditional research outputs (e.g. music, dance or theater)
[6] Two Academic Referee Reports (to be submitted by the referee here)
[7] A statement of support by your UNE supervisor (maximum of 500 words) sent by the supervisor to: hdrdocuments@une.edu.au
