TRT World is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to work with the team and build the core digital products in Istanbul, Turkey for 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the entire application lifecycle.
Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
Stay up-to-date with new technology and best practices.
Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines.
Ownership of a specific development track as defined by the organization.
Participate in regular meetings around software development.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in the development world and continually iterate on new product releases to ensure market-leading digital products.

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience designing and developing complex, interactive consumer applications.
5+ years of experience with mobile application development(iOS, Android, React Native) and a variety of modern programming languages (Java,JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C, Python) and open-source technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, the similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with delivering software projects using Agile /Scrum methodologies Experience with full-native, hybrid, and pure-web mobile app development.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects.
Track record of bringing in and growing engineering talent.
A track record of communicating well with executives and non-technical leaders Experience with full-native, hybrid, and pure-web mobile app development.
Experience with building tools for internal or external developers.
Experience with video and audio streaming platform development.
Ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, giving technical talks, teaching classes, or as a consultant on projects.
Interest to learn other coding languages as needed.
