The National Mental Health Programme requires a graphic designer to create a layout for the programme’s Code of Conduct (which consists of 23 pages). 

Main Tasks:

The volunteer typical responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting internal stakeholders to determine the scope of a project. 
  • Determining the message the design should portray. 
  • Estimating the time required to complete the task at hand. 
  • Developing design briefs that suit the internal stakeholder’s purpose. 
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts. 
  • Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging technologies. 
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches. 
  • Incorporating changes recommended by internal stakeholders into the final design.

Background and Objectives:

The National Mental Health Programme wishes to support ideas communicated in the Code of Conduct with the design that the graphic designer will provide. The layout created by the graphic designer will enhance the look of the Code of Conduct and create a strong composition. Please draw inspiration for the design from NMHP publications published on the following website (https://www.moph.gov.lb/en/Pages/6/553/the-national-mental-health-program).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

  • A BSc in graphic design or a related field. 
  • A professional portfolio that features your best designs. 
  • At least two years of experience in graphic design. 

Important skills include:

  • Familiarity with design software and technologies. 
  • Excellent communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to internal stakeholders.
  • Good presentation skills. 
  • Time management skills.
