PwC announces a job opportunity to work as a consulting and activation Hub proposal manager. A career within operations consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help the clients optimise all elements of their operations to move beyond the role of a cost effective business enabler and become a source of competitive advantages. It focus on product innovation and development, supply chain, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations and capital asset programs to drive both growth and profitability. As a proposal manager, you will work within the Middle East Local Activation Hub (LAH) to support regional opportunities, proposal development, and management on strategic opportunities across the PwC competencies within the consulting line of service. You will collaborate with multiple regional teams (e.g., delivery centers, impact centers) and global teams when necessary, to execute standardised proposal processes and coordinate proposal responses. You will also work across functional teams to coordinate content development and facilitate resource needs across opportunities. As one piece of the ecosystem, the proposal manager will drive opportunities from pre-RFP to proposal submission and oral presentations.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • 4+ years of experience in proposal management and development (within professional services and in a consulting environment would be an advantage).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and it's preferred to be proficient in Arabic too.
  • Availability for work visa sponsorship and government clearance.

It's preferred to have:

  • Experience in the marketing and/or sales organisation for a professional services or consulting firm.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Be independent worker.
  • Be strategic thinker.
  • Be strong organised and have attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project and proposal management skills (preference for APMP or similar industry certifications).
  • Ability to team with stakeholders across functions, borders, and regardless of position.
  • Capabilities with basic creative design (powerpoint, graphics, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask on projects.
  • Be a quick learner.
  • Have basic research and account management skills.
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office packages, specifically PowerPoint and Google for proposals and presentations.
  • Ability to travel by up to 20%.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Effectively lead teams on live proposals to coordinate proposal development, submission and negotiation.
  2. Execute firm standardised proposal processes and management to coordinate multi-territory proposal responses.
  3. Think strategically about the opportunity and the client to ensure dynamic win themes are developed and presented throughout the document.
  4. Organize and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority across multiple territories, where required.
  5. Coordinate resources (writers, designers, document production, technical subject matter specialists, etc.) to drive the efficient development of LAH proposals.
  6. Consistently lead and manage concurrently large, strategic RFP responses, including leveraging the knowledge of a professional services firm's operations, internal processes, tools, and support services.
  7. Demonstrate thorough understanding of key elements, terms, and processes found within a consulting or professional services proposal.
  8. Demonstrate thorough ability to build key relationships with account, vertical, and solution delivery partners and managing directors to provide the best value to clients.
  9. Demonstrate ability to communicate compelling value propositions; manage resource requirements, project workflow, and, prepare or coordinate complex written and verbal materials.
  10. Develop a comprehensive plan from scratch and implement.
  11. Contribute to the management of cross-border proposal knowledge and content.
  12. Contribute to leadership dashboards and management reports, as well as other ad hoc requests for presentations.
  13. Contribute to practice process development and documentation, specific to coordination and collaboration with entities such as finance, cross border facilitation, sourcing, proposal Hub, etc.
