The University of Adelaide in Australia is offering a Ph.D. research scholarship in the Department of Chemistry within the School of Physical Sciences for one full-time Ph.D. student who will work with many of the world's leading researchers in the field of chemistry. The project will involve the synthesis, characterization, and testing of novel water splitting photocatalysts to generate hydrogen and oxygen in a Z-scheme photo-electrochemical reactor.
Open to Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia, and international students who are able to meet the University’s admission conditions and who are accepted as candidates for a Ph.D. research degree at the University of Adelaide.
The scholarship will be for 3 years and has a stipend of $33,000 per annum. It is likely to be tax-exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval. A full fee scholarship may also be available for qualifying international applicants.
