Duties/Physical Demands:

The Dean is the chief administrative, academic, and budgetary officer for the College of Education, Health and Society, and reports directly to the Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. Likewise, the Dean serves as a role model of integrity, and a champion of diversity and inclusion for the Colleges faculty and is accessible to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Additionally, the new dean will have the opportunity to build upon the Colleges strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. Also, its interdisciplinary, diverse programs, its strong advocacy for social justice. Likewise, diversity, equity and inclusion, and strong engagement with community partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Dean will hold an earned doctorate in one of the College of Education, Health and Society general fields of study. Have achieved a distinguished record of scholarly. Also, professional achievement for appointment as a full professor in one of the programs within the College.
