Volunteer Online with UN: Support in facilitating a team-building event

UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as The UNICEF Libya Office is looking for a qualified volunteer to act as Team building facilitator.

This will be an online facilitation, coordinated within the three office locations. The office has operated in these three locations for close to two years, while there have been efforts to have joint meetings, this has not been possible due to the ongoing conflict in the country of Libya which restricted movement.

Volunteer duration and working hours:

1-5 hours per week for overall 1 week. 

Eligibility criteria:

  1. The excercise will be done through an online platform. The number of staff expected to attend is 60, located in various locations, but the majority in Tripoli, Tunis, Benghazi and other respective loacations. 
  2. Experience in conducting team building for a diverse group is required.
  3. The volunteer will help design programmes and identify tools that will help the office meet the objectives. 
  4. He/She will ensure the outcomes of the excercise are well recorded and actioned. 
  5. Ability to communication in English.

Volunteer duties:

  • The Team building facilitator would be requested to support an on line team building exercise that will re-establish the sense of belonging to the team, to enhance cohesiveness and re-energize the team to work better at all work relational fronts. UNICEF is currently in three locations, including Tripoli, Benghazi and the outpost office in Tunis. The task of the Team Building Facilitator, therefore will be to re-connect the three offices through creative online activities that will help meet the objectives above.
  • This will be a one day event however from the preparation of the event to the reporting, one week is envisaged as suitable.
