UMCE-BUSINESSMED offers a job opportunity to work as a web editor. 

Eligibility:

To apply for the job you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree and higher in journalism or communication.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in web editing and/or in a relevant position in non-profit sector.
  • Excellent writing (grammar, spelling, style...) and communication skills in English and Arabic. French would be an asset.
  • Ability to synthesize and develop articles from several sources.
  • Be able to create and write unique, creative content adapted to the standards of digital marketing.
  • Preferred experience working with EU funded projects.
  • Able to work independently as in team with a developed sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Be proactive and able to work to tight deadlines, flexible and have good analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise work schedules.
  • Be able to simplify and synthesize technical documents into an easy-to-understand articles.
  • Be thorough and precise in your work with a good attention to detail.
  • Professional experience in copywriting and copy-editing would be a serious asset. 

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Reread and optimize the web content already existing on the site.
  2. Write SEO optimized articles in both Arabic and English with French as an asset.
  3. Produce content for the different communication supports in both Arabic and English (website, brochure, report, presentation...).
  4. Search for information, news and articles on the projects on which the organization is working and conduct a competitive intelligence.
  5. Translation between English and Arabic (French would be an asset).
  6. Write sample emails and meeting minutes.
  7. Assistance in project implementation and call writing.
  8. Contributing with the communication team to the elaboration and proofreading of activity reports and brochures.
  9. Contribute to the writing and proofreading of reports to be submitted to donors, members.
  10. Assist and coordinate with various departments and supporting project teams.
  11. Perform any other related duties, as agreed with the communication manager.
  12. The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of your level of skills and experience. 

Salary:  

The local salary which be paid in Tunisian currency (TND), will suit your experience and qualifications.
