Al-futtaim Private Company offers a job opportunity at IKEA Egypt as a Customer Service Assistant. IKEA is looking for a candidate with a passion for selling and eagerness to want to help customers, who enjoy working in a fast-paced and complex environment, and has the willingness in transforming IKEA to be the world’s leading home furnishing retailer.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible to oversee and provide support on the info desk, in order to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Key Specific Accountabilities:

Handles routine customer complaints promptly and courteously.
Ensure that customers are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Greets and welcomes customers on arrival at the store.
Makes announcements and pages the person the visitors have asked to see.
Ensures Customer' bags are stored safely and securely.
Ensures all customers’ queries are attended to in a professional manner.
Ensures Shopping tools and catalogs are available for the customers.
Provides bags/trollies as appropriate.
Ensure all system procedures are adhered to as per policy/procedure.
Suggests improved ways of working going forwards.
Understands the impact of increasing sales with Shopping Tools.
Briefs the Duty Manager on complaints that require management assistance.

Qualifications:

IKEA is looking for candidates with the following knowledge, capabilities, and motivation:

Live and share the IKEA values every day.
Holds a Bachelor's Degree.
3 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
Background or experience in retail, home furnishings, kitchen/office furniture, telecommunication, hotels, or related field.
Customer Focus, Initiative, Sales Driven.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and Word.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Able to work on rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
