 Chalhoub Group is offering job opportunity to work as Demand Planner in KSA. The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying gaps in current supply or Demand plans and propose remedial action, identifying constraints and options on available space and alert the business to impending issues, assessing sources of supply and costs and monitor currency fluctuations and understand the impact of forex rates on business costs as well as do any other related works.

Responsibilities:

  1. Apply planning and forecasting techniques regarding demand and capacity and interpret and communicate results to relevant team members
  2. Review sales inputs and ensure an appropriate Sales Forecast is developed and consistently renewed
  3. Apply planning and modelling techniques to investigate and evaluate demand scenarios and the impact of relevant constraints in order to ensure an appropriate basis is selected for the Demand Plan
  4. Provide input on the optimum stock model to support agreed Demand and business plans
  5. Identify gaps in current supply or Demand plans and propose remedial action
  6. Identify constraints and options on available space and alert the business to impending issues
  7. Assess sources of supply and costs 
  8. Monitor currency fluctuations and understand the impact of forex rates on business costs
  9. Support the role of audit and financial compliance in all operational activities
  10. Develop and implement plans to ensure compliance
  11. Collect and analyze data needed for and output from network design/optimization
  12. Submit new business requirements to tech team regarding systems and tools
  13. Provide direction on significant deviations from the use of organizational systems

Required Skills:

  • Applicants must have an excellent demand planning and analytical experience, coupled with the ability to upskills others in this area.  
  • You must have advanced mathematical and forecasting practical experience.
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement methodology experience. 
  • Experience in warehouse and transportation management systems is a big plus
  • The ability to lead top-to-top risk mitigation discussions with key supply partners, excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
