Lycoming College invites applications for a full time, tenure-track position in Marketing to begin in the fall of 2021. We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline with teaching capabilities in marketing principles and, depending on interest, marketing analytics, marketing strategy, international marketing, business research methods, or other marketing-related topics.

Lycoming College deeply roots in the liberal arts tradition and seeks candidates who see the business curriculum as part of this larger goal, integrating business education in an interdisciplinary way with other fields of study. The University dedicates to excellence in the classroom and expects the ideal candidate to include both research and service to the college community to the work that they do.

Experience and Qualifications for Vacancy for Assistant Professor

A qualified candidate must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline combined with business experience or a Masters degree in business. Additionally, candidates that are ABD may apply with the clear understanding that degree must be in hand within one year. Furthermore, the successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, advising, and service to the campus community to receive tenure. Likewise, candidates must demonstrate an interest in teaching in a liberal arts environment.
