Aramex offers a job opportunity in UAE to work as an operations leader who manage the operations teams & the warehouse activities to ensure running efficient operations that meet the company standards and customers’ requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Coordinates all activities within the station’s warehouse(s) with multiple projects to meet project deadlines and targets.
  2. Coordinates all activities and communication between the logistics department and other departments in Aramex where needed.
  3. Schedules, directs and coordinates logistics functions according to existing documented policies and procedures to ensure they are in place and followed.
  4. Recommends and ensures the implementation of changes and enhancements as necessary.
  5. The solution creation and implementation for special requirement logistics projects.
  6. Follow up on quality audit results’ action items to make sure they are properly logged and worked on as planned.
  7. Issues customers invoices each month according to the published procedures.
  8. Performs the responsibilities of the logistics supervisor when necessary.
  9. Ensures technology is properly and fully utilized to achieve the full benefit to the customer and the company.
  10. Gathers technical requirements from both customer projects and warehouse daily operations and communicates with the GSO or station IT to make sure they are delivered.
  11. Performs software testing to accept new features or changes.
  12. Authorizes and specifies OptiLog/SSA access levels for each employee to ensure each user has his proper access level.
  13. Oversees the requests and acquisition of storage systems, warehouse equipment, and other materials including designs, comparing offers and implementation work to make sure the right equipment are available at the right price.
  14. Makes sure of maintenance agreements are in place for all machines/equipment and makes sure maintenance is done regularly.
  15. Assists and trains persons in the use of warehouse systems and the processing of work orders.
  16. Trains personnel on logistics procedures published under the DQMS.
  17. Trains personnel on customized logistics procedures & requirements for new customers.
  18. Establishes safety and security awareness among the logistics team to promote a safe and secure environment.
