Photocrowd invites photographers from around the world to participate in the Seascapes Photography Competition in association with N-Photo magazine. In this Nikon-only contest, Photocrowd is asking for your best seascape images. So, whether it’s a minimalist masterpiece, a stunning coastal sunset, or an aqua-themed abstract, Photocrowd would like to see your best seascape photographs.

Entry Details:

DO:

Ensure your photo was taken on a Nikon camera.
Have EXIF data in your photo (in the info section).
Provide a title for your photo.
Write a description of the photo you're entering at least 50 words to give the background of what the image is of and how it was taken.
Check your photo has a resolution of at least 3000 pixels on the longest edge of the photo as Photocrowd will be printing the top 10 images in N-Photo magazine.

DO NOT:

Have a watermark on your photograph.
Any photo not following the above rules will be disqualified from the competition.

Prize Details:

Both the expert's first choice and winner of the crowd vote will each win a £100 voucher from online photo lab CEWE Photoworld to have their image professionally mounted. The style is up to you, from acrylic to aluminum, stretched on canvas or mounted in a traditional wooden frame, CEWE Photoworld offers a vast range of wall art and a huge array of size options. Or you might prefer to have a gallery of your images made into a calendar or printed into a photo book – you can spend your £100 voucher however you wish.

The judges' top 10 images printed in an upcoming issue of N-Photo, the UK's most popular photography magazine for Nikon users.

How it Works:

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest but Photocrowd will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favorite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
