UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as The National Mental Health Programme in Lebanon is looking for 2 highly motivated and creative volunteers to support team with creating designs and artwork to be used in the National Mental Health Programme’s online platforms. As it seeks volunteers to conceptualize engaging visuals based on requirements for its various channels including the website and social media.

Volunteer duration and working hours:

20+ hours per week for overall 4 weeks. 

Eligibility criteria:

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

  1. A BSc in graphic design or a related field. 
  2. A professional portfolio that features your best designs. 
  3. One year’s experience in graphic design (with an emphasis in social media content creation). 
  4. A grasp of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 
  5. Important skills include: Familiarity with design software and technologies and Excellent communication skills to accurately convey your concepts. 

Volunteer task:

  • The online volunteers will be asked to create up to 10 designs for documents which consist of approximately 2 pages of text (each), including tables, graphs and images.
  • The design and its layout should follow our design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteers in advance.
